Book Creator in the High School Math Class






Wow---Book Creator  is of those online tools that has drastically changed my teaching.  This is an easy to use tool that allows teachers and students to collaborate to produce digital books.     

 My goal has always been for my students to create a resource that he or she could take with them and benefit for years to come.   However, in reality it didn´t matter how fancy or nice our interactive notebooks were they still didn´t keep up with them for the next year.  They definitely didn´t have a clue where their Interactive Algebra Notebooks were by their junior year!

 I have just started by Book Creator Journey with my students and they love it!  We are saving their published links in Google Keep so that they can always refer back to them or just show them off !

So far we have created our own State Study Guides for Solving Equations and a Review of Radical Operations! 


OTHER CREATIVE IDEAS: 

High school students can create a short story book and read it to an elementary class.

Teachers can write social skills stories to assist students who are struggling in a specific area.

Students can use Book Creator to make their ALL About Me books to help lead their very own Aspire IEP meeting.
